VESSEL WORK SCOPE FOR SHUTDOWN
Why is vessel maintenance important during refinery shutdowns?
Refineries are complex systems that rely on multiple vessels to process crude oil into different products. However, these vessels are subject to frequent wear and tear due to the harsh operating conditions. To ensure their safe and efficient operation, routine maintenance is important during planned shutdowns. This period of downtime not only allows uninterrupted access to the vessels, but also presents the ideal opportunity to carry out thorough inspections, repairs and replacements to minimize potential risks and ensure optimal performance when the refinery restarts.
